â€What to Buy at Garage Sales: Vintage Kitchen Items.
â€I’m making it my little mission to share some easy, plant-based, good-home-cooking-style recipes over the next little while to make the whole idea of cooking for family without using animal products a little more approachable, so go ahead and subscribe to my email newsletter if you need some more ideas.â€🙂 I’ll add some links to some of my favourites that I’ve already shared below as well.. Making the Plant-Based Shortbread Cookies.
â€I gave myself a little pep-talk before starting this experiment.â€I told myself that there was a good chance that these cookies might not work out at all and to not feel too disheartened if that turned out to be the case.â€I thought the dough might be really messy and sticky and hard to work with.
â€I thought the cookies might really spread out when they were baked and just be really ugly too.â€But neither of those things happened!.
â€The dough was really easy to roll out and not sticky at all.
â€The cut-out shapes were easy to lift out and move onto the baking sheet and not a single cookie was burnt when I took them out of the oven.â€It also just gets dirty.
â€You find strange bits of paper and mints with lint on them in with the beach toys, and other things like that..â€If we’re going to be driving for any kind of distance, I definitely insist on making sure the kids have extra hats and gloves in their bags if it’s winter, but I don’t need 6 extra blankets in my trunk.
â€If I really feel like there are a lot of extra items that might come in handy, I pack a few backpacks and then bring them right back in the house when the trip is done.â€That stuff doesn’t need to live in the car 24/7.
